Acupuncture Treatment - 60 min - $95

*Focused Acupuncture Treatment - 30 min - $50

Acupuncture is performed by inserting very thin needles into specific, energetically active points on the body. The basic principle of acupuncture is to move stagnant Qi. Qi Is our life force energy, and When It Is stagnated, or blocked, any number of symptoms can occur. Acupuncture corrects these imbalances by breaking up stuck or blocked Qi along the 12 primary meridians, or channels, in the human body. Acupuncture is a wonderful healing tool, as well as preventative medicine.

In a typical acupuncture session the acupuncturist will take your health history, feel your pulses to assess relative flow of energy in all your meridians, and converse with you in order to assess the best treatment for you. Acupuncture works best over multiple treatments, so that the effects can deepen, and resolve underlying stagnation to bring harmony.

Conditions commonly treated: Pain Management, Stress and anxiety, Menopause, Insomnia, Digestive disorders, Respiratory conditions, Women's health, Infertility, PTSD

*Focused Treatments are shorter acupuncture treatments, focusing on a single concern. These treatments are great for many issues, and for overall health. Some of the conditions most appropriate for our 30 minute appointments are: Allergies, Irritability, Insomnia, Knee/elbow/wrist/ankle pain, Headaches/Migraines, Stress, Hangovers, Anxiety, Joint Pain, Chronic Pain in general. - For these treatments, you will remain fully clothed and most points will be below the elbows and below the knees.

Acussage

75 min - $110

This treatment begins with a 20-30 minute massage where the therapist will simultaneously release muscle tension, while also assessing the meridians of the body to find the best way of treating with acupuncture. In Chinese medicine, massage is often a tool for diagnosis as well as its own therapy.

The massage will work out areas of tension and find areas of qi stagnation (stuck energy).

Following the massage, acupuncture needles will be inserted in highly specific points on the body. These thin needles will help promote the movement of qi, and healing that was started by the massage.

The acupuncture portion will last the remainder of the treatment, and you will be able to relax and/or meditate throughout.
